A Different Way

I’m sitting here in front a blank canvas again, painting what has the ability to be a beautiful display of words to the reader. Just so you know, I’m eating Easter jelly beans and they’re quite tasty, except for the Pina Colada flavor (what a waste). I like to be so serene and beautiful and yet the “Tongue in Cheek Goofball” part of me has to come through to make everything true. I’ve been absent lately and have no ability to apologize as I’ve got myself an excuse finally… an amazing girlfriend whom I love (yes I said it and mean it, so stop laughing). After all the shenanigans I’ve written about and how I have always felt about myself with the low self-esteem, I’m finally out of it. I finally have the ability to speak of love with some knowledge of being there in the experience I’ve had thus far. Courtney. That’s her name and she strikes my heart aflutter daily and I can’t explain the amazing person I’ve found in her and the love we share. I know some people would say that being in love takes more than just feeling it but I believe that I know where I’m at and after 3 12 months I can truly say it and say it loud. If you wanted to know how I was doing personally I would say that’s the biggest change in my life and she’s the best thing to happen to me yet in my short little life. In the other parts of my life, I’ve finally attained full-time status at Apple as a Creative (also known as a Personal Trainer) wherein I get to be referred to as an Apple guru by the NewsMedia. I also am helping out in the AV Booth (properly referred to as the G-Boo ((short for Genius Booth)) by we the techie nerdguys) and it’s a good time that allows me to get involved but not too busy involved. Outside of the above mentioned goodness, I also run a few clients networks and do computer repair on the unfortunate Windows world and am still cracking out websites from time to time. Needless to say, I’m loving my life and all is going quite well for me. Right now I don’t have any great truths or learnings to pour out in illustrious words, but rather I’m living life and enjoying it. I’ll keep you posted on when that changes, as we all know it does. The song for this post is one that many of you might now have heard as it comes from a somewhat smalltime local Memphis band that Courtney is addicted to and has passed on to me. The song is “Home” by Egypt Central and it’s a great song about losing a love and admitting that the words said were a lie and needing that person back to bring life back to the soul.
